1. Rental Eligibility
To rent a vehicle from Quick Auto Rentals, you must:
- Be at least 25 years old.
- Hold a valid driver’s license issued by Barbados or a recognized foreign country, held for at least one (1) year.
- Present a valid passport or government-issued ID (for foreign renters).
- Provide a valid credit card in the renter’s name or make an approved cash deposit.
- (Optional) Temporary Visitor Permits may be required for non-Barbadian drivers and can be arranged for a fee.
2. Reservation and Payment
- Reservations may be made online, via telephone, or at our office.
- A valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) is required to secure the booking.
- Full payment is required at the time of vehicle pickup.
- Cash payments are accepted with an additional refundable security deposit.
- Prices are quoted in Barbados Dollars (BBD) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.
3. Rental Duration
- The rental period begins and ends at the agreed dates and times stated on the rental agreement.
- Late returns beyond a 30-minute grace period may incur hourly or daily charges.
- Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and must be authorized in advance.
4. Vehicle Usage
- The vehicle must be operated in accordance with Barbados traffic laws and used for lawful purposes only.
- Only authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle.

The vehicle must not be used:
- For commercial purposes without written approval.
- Off-road or on unpaved surfaces (unless specified as suitable).
- While under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- To tow other vehicles, carry hazardous materials, or race.
5. Insurance and Liability
- Vehicles are covered by Comprehensive Motor Insurance, including third-party liability.

The renter is responsible for:
- Any damage, loss, or theft up to the insurance deductible/excess amount.
- Negligence, breach of contract, or use outside permitted conditions may void coverage.
- Additional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection may be available for an extra fee.
- A police report is mandatory for all accidents or incidents, regardless of severity.
6. Fuel Policy
- Vehicles are provided with a specific fuel level and must be returned at the same level.
- If returned with less fuel, a refueling charge plus service fee will apply.
7. Vehicle Return
- Return must be made to the agreed rental location during business hours, unless prior arrangements are made.
- Failure to return the vehicle on time or to the correct location may result in penalties and/or towing fees.
- Vehicles must be returned in clean condition. Excessive dirt or damage may incur a cleaning fee.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the rental start date may be eligible for a partial refund.
- No-shows, early returns, and cancellations within 48 hours of pickup are non-refundable.
- Administrative fees may apply to amendments or changes to the reservation.
9. Additional Services and Equipment

Upon request and subject to availability, the following may be provided at additional cost:
- GPS navigation systems
- Child car seats
- Booster seats
- Roadside assistance
- Mobile Wi-Fi devices
- Equipment must be returned in good condition or replacement costs will apply.
10. Child Safety – Legal Compliance & Disclaimer
Child Car Seat Disclaimer
In accordance with Barbados Road Traffic Regulations, all children under 5 years of age must be transported in an appropriate child restraint system.
By renting with Quick Auto Rentals, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for requesting and installing a child seat suitable for the child’s age and weight.
- Quick Auto Rentals is not liable for any fines, injuries, or consequences resulting from failure to comply with this requirement.
- If a child seat is declined or unavailable, you assume full responsibility and legal liability.
- Failure to comply with child restraint laws may result in fines or prosecution under Barbados law.
11. General Terms
- All rentals are subject to the Rental Agreement signed at pickup.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Barbados.
- Quick Auto Rentals reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice.
- It is your responsibility to review the current version of the terms before renting.
